Tuesday, December 16th — Rule change suggestions emailed to Commish (Please think about your suggestions and send it to us in one email, a number of amendment emails can get very confusing.
Thursday, January 8th — Last day to suggest a rule change for the 2009 NERFL Season. All suggestions must be made by this date.
Monday, December 29th – Rule Discussions start to get posted at NERFL Blog. Once again, dialog should be posted in the comments section. When we consider whether to amend a suggestion prior to final vote, we use the comment sections to review and consider these amendments. Emails may not get a thought or idea included in the final discussion.
Friday, January 23rd – Rule Discussion period closes. All comments will be taken under advisement and if there is a need to create an amendment or language changes, they will be addressed in the next phase.
Monday, January 26th – “PRELIMINARY VOTE” Amendments and language changes/ as well as competing suggestions are taken up in a preliminary vote. ONLY those issues that have an amendment to language or have similar issues (ie: last year’s scoring… one option PPR, the other option had no PPR) will be taken up in a preliminary vote.
Friday, January 30th – Preliminary Vote period closes. All amendments and changes are tabulated, recorded and finalized.
Saturday, January 31st – “FINAL VOTE ON 2009 NERFL RULE BOOK” The final vote is the vote that places a new rule -vs- an old rule, and the membership votes for the rule they like best.
Wednesday, February 11th – Final Vote on 2009 Nerfl Rule Book Closes at 9pm. Votes will be tabulated and the results will be shared on Thursday, February 12th.
Friday, February 13th — Off Season trading begins.
Friday, May 8th — Last day for off season trades.
Thursday, May 14th — The 2008 NERFL Season and Rule Book expire.
Friday, May 15th – The 2009 NERFL Season opens. League fee is due in full. Failure to submit league fee by the 15th will result in loss of 2009 keeper.
