RIP My Big Boy Red Forever has proposed the following rule:
Teams may keep two players each year
The rationale is that by keeping two players, it will speed up the draft.
NICE TRY CARLOS BUT ITS NOT ABOUT THE TIME THE DRAFT TAKES. IT IS ABOUT THE FAIRNESS OF THE LEAGUE. IF YOU WOULD AMEND YOUR PROPOSAL TO INCLUDE A ONE YEAR LIMITATION ON ALL FREE AGENTS YOU MIGHT HAVE SOME [MILD] SUPPORT FROM GENERAL GEORGE S BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION ON NUMBER OF YEARS I THINK IT IS A TERRIBLE IDEA.
WITH A STRICT LIMITATION [ONE YEAR] ITS WORTH DISCUSSING
I do not think this rule is in the best interest of the league. I think that multiple keepers will prevent teams from improving and will keep the top teams at the top and the bottom teams at the bottom.
I also concur, bad idea, unless the team is willing to sacifice more like . With one keeper it’s a 20% increase from the previous year . With 2 keepers the second keeper should be a 30% increase with a minium of say 8 pts and only one year. If the problem is the time the draft takes, then don’t join the league. The best part of the year is looking forward to the draft day.
It figures you 3 would decline since you guys couldn’t draft a solid keeper to save your lives.. Rich-(winslow)–BUST,

First off, I don’t care how long the draft takes.. i draft my team i’m outta there. Second i just suggested 2 keepers thats it.. i didn’t state the 2 keepers to speed up the draft process, the commish added that in on his own. And if it passes it passes, if not oh well…And lastly rich SHUT-UP, i’m in the league for now, and until i leave i look forward to kicking you Arse all over the field when we meet…
Well another reason i suggested 2 keepers was that Wasserman never attends draft days, and were waiting 5-10 mins every time he picks because he can’t show up… Maybe i’ll make that a rule suggestion too..
I do apologize for the leap of adding “Speed up the draft.” It was actually part of the proposal sent last year and I made the assumption that the draft was a part of the proposal this year.
I apologize to carlos and prove the point, “You know what happens when we assume…”

take a chill pill baby/ if you want to make a suggestion with an amendment that is great but two keepers without limitations is a pig that won’t fly. now if you want to make a rule proposal that limits the keepers to one year then pops will have your back covered
