Team TBD has made the following rule suggestion.
Yardage bonuses for running backs — 1 total point at 50 yards, 3 total points at 100 yards, 4 total point at 150, 6 total points at 200 (and so on if need be).
The rationale behind the proposal is that by re-establishing Yardage Bonuses, it will equalize the value between running back and wide receivers.

Pop’s Puppies have suggested the following rule change.
The current rule:
1 point for every catch.
The proposed rule change
1 point for every two catches.
The rationale is that “WRs are expanded well beyond the value of running backs” and to account for hat anomoly, we must adjust the PPR rule.
Rules Discussion: RB Scoring January 1, 2009

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!! I hope you all have a wonderful, healthy and happy 2009 !!!
The Fugawi Frogz have proposed the following Rule:
Running backs should get 2 points for every 5th carry.
The reason for the proposed rule is to find balance between the RB and WR positions. Since the inception of PPR last season, WRs have seen their value increase across the board. A WR who has 10 catches for 100 yards gets 20 NERFL points while a RB who has 25 carries for 100 yards gets 10 NERFL points. Under this proposed rule, that same RB will get the same 20 points as the WR.
Since most top tier WR average between 7 and 10 catches per game and top tier running backs average between 20 and 25 carries per game, this rule rewards RBs for their productivity during a game in the same manner that the PPR rewards WRs who garner more catches.
